JuxXtaposition

Definition: A placing or being placed in nearness or contiguity, or side by side; as a juxtaposition of words. It can be done by either using WORDS or IMAGES.

On today's in class exercise, a set of words is given along with numbering, then student is required to choose 3 sets of number which consist a pair of number in each set. So i chose 26, 19, 87.


By using the table above, here's the output that i get by using my choice.

2-6 : lightning spider

1-9 : flower rain

8-7 : oil tree

Next step would be creating a sentence out of the words. Then try to visualize it. After that, illustrate what I have visualized.

2-6 : lightning spider
- The lightning strikes a spider.

1-9 : flower rain

- Today the world is showered by rain of flowers.



8-7 : oil tree
- That tree produces a large amount of oil.


There you go. Although the outcome doesn't make any sense, but i think its a good way to generate new ideas. Who knows what u might get from this technique, it might be creative or the other way round.
